Come and join our thriving team as a Systems Specialist Consultant, supporting the project management of HRIS implementations and enhancements. This full-time role is a maximum-term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of ongoing work after the contract ends.

Position Purpose

As an HRIS System Specialist, you will be a key consultant for our clients, providing expert guidance and project management support in optimising their HR systems or implementing new systems, primarily with Employment Hero and ELMO. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique HR and payroll needs, design and implement tailored system solutions, and provide comprehensive training and support to enhance their HRIS functionalities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, is data-driven, organised and can deliver customised HR technology solutions that drive client success, enhance employee engagement, and boost retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their HR and Payroll processes and identify opportunities to enhance their use of Employment Hero and ELMO.
  • Project manage the implementation of HRIS solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver customised training sessions and workshops for client teams, enhancing their proficiency with HRIS features and functionalities.
  • Conduct system audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend best practices for system usage.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and document HRIS processes, workflows, and training materials.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in HR technology and share insights with clients to enhance their HRIS strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and client retention.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential:
  • Relevant qualifications in HR, IT, Project and Change Management (or a related field) with at least 3 years of experience in HRIS consulting or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience with Employment Hero, ELMO HRIS and KeyPay solutions with a strong understanding of their features and functionalities.
  • Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client needs into effective HRIS solutions.
  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to educate and support clients on system usage and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience with other HR or Payroll systems and software integration.
  • Continuous professional development in HR technology or related areas.
  • Membership of the Australian Human Resource Institute (AHRI).
  • PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner.
  • PRINCE 2 Project Management certification (and/or experience).
