Experienced HR Consultants / Senior Advisors

Nellers HR Consulting is a growing consultancy focused on supporting businesses with their HR and Payroll challenges through proactive solutions. We service clients in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and North Queensland and due to rapid growth, our team is expanding!

About the Opportunity

Provide strategic and operational advice to a range of clients across multiple sectors, including start-ups and established enterprises. This is a role with variety, where you will have the opportunity to lead career-defining projects, support the delivery of a range of human resource services and grow our client book through exceptional service delivery and relationship building. Working collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals, some of the work you might be involved in:

  • Leading the design, development and implementation of strategic people initiatives in line with corporate goals and strategy
  • Identifying, researching and recommending options to clients to improve and/or enhance existing systems and business processes
  • Implementing HR and Payroll software solutions
  • Undertaking compliance and best practice audits
  • Policy and contract writing
  • Coaching, supporting and developing leaders to effectively manage people related processes and change
  • Designing, developing and delivering fit-for-purpose training solutions for clients
  • Conducting workplace investigations and preparing timely reports into matters related to but not limited to, grievances, performance, conduct and disciplinary matters

This is predominately a work from home position based in Brisbane, with potential for some onsite client work as needed.

About You

  • At least 5 years working experience in Senior HR and/or Payroll positions, along with a passion and interest in best practice
  • A can-do attitude, growth and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to network
  • High attention to detail
  • Qualifications in HR or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ideally you will have a speciality in 1-2 areas of HR, Change Management or Payroll as well as broad generalist experience, supporting a range of sectors

This is a casual opportunity with an ASAP start and the potential to increase hours and become part-time / full-time in the future. Hourly rate will be competitive with profit share opportunities for the right person.
